Distributor installation
Can anyone tell me if the distributor in pressed in to the head or should it just easily slip in? Mine is being difficult to install and I don't want to force it for fear of cracking new head.

It's not pressed in. It will only go on one way, look at the cam through the little hole, you have to line the key on the distributor up with it.

I've got the key lined up with the cam and that part is fine. Its the part with the gasket that is hanging up. You think it would be alright to tap it in a little bit?

I took the distributor off my old head and am trying to get it in the new head. Wont fit so I tried it in the old head again and I am having the same problem. I guess I will just keep trying.
