so this is the second time this happened 2 me my old 94 gsr hatch had an 2000 obd 2 gsr swap with a obd1 ecu and the tach didnt work i tried everything it still didnt work i just threw a 2001 gsr swap in a 95 hatch with a obd1 p72 ecu and the tach dont work again i know it worked because it had a ls swap right before i did the swap so my question is since it an newer obd2 swap should i be runnin and obd2 ecu anybody have the same problem info please

you got to run a wire from the distributor directly to the tack wire in the driverside shocktower harness dont remember which one it is for some reason the engine harness uses a diffrent wire location or its not there at all not exactly sure but thats how i fixed it on my old gsr swap in my 92 hatch i think distributor wire is white with blue stripe

see that the thing i tried that i got some kinda signal but it bounced around not accurate and that happened 2 both my cars
