Ok guys I have heard to many opinions from dealers about what rear type r seats fit my 00 si. I rcently traded my brother my srds for mint usdm type r seats and some wheels and want to complete my interior. NOW BEFORE ANYBODY SAYS USE THE SEARCH OPTION I have tried that but the info is to broad.

My goal is to minimize gap since the seats are not made for my car. I have heard that rear 4dr type r seats and ctr are what I need. Please help me figure this out. Thanks in advance guys.....

 

this is BEYOND a bolt in affair. the 4 door seats are VERY wide.

only way is to hack it in somehow. use your own fab'd up brackets and stuff.

theres no right way to do it.

 

I have ITR 4 door rear seats in my si, had to modify the rear panels to fit, but It looks great.

 

I was thinking about doing the same thing in the near future, so what I was going to do was just have my rear seats (stock em1) re done at an upholstery shop, and find the usdm type r fronts. _M

 

What did you have to modify on the rear panels to get the seats to fit. I just ordered some DB8 Type R rear seats for my EJ2 coupe and was curious. Thanks!

 

i heard that ctrs dont fit and you have to mod db8s..... ima leave my si interior in...to much work for me lol.....
