Hi, I know this isn't a Honda but i'll try my luck anyway. My friend just bought an 04 600 and it's been giving some weird problems. Sometimes it would idle at 700 and shut off. Sometimes it would idle at 3k and scare the crap out of me, so I have to shut it off at stop lights. Then on the freeway it feels bogged down when I get to 7k rpm, and twitch to go faster. Anybody got any ideas?

 

sounds to me there may be more than one problem, maybe some REALLY dirty throttle bidies and a malfunctioning TPS. There is a high chance it is something other than that, but it is really hard to diagnose something without it being in front of you.
