Did you try waxing it or claying it?

same problem with my car but it was from my neighbors sprinkler hitting my car. so i went to home depot and they had this like window mirror cleaner stuff for bathrooms. its in a little yellow bottle and it has a blue sponge to apply it. its a powder you add water to make a paste then scrub. worked really well and took out all the spots.

to get water spots off windows

use Stoners Window Cleaner + Fine Steel Wool. apply window cleaner liberally and rub with steel wool. believe me, it works. we do this at the Honda Dealer.

Hard water spots on car

clay magic clay bar. followed up by polish n wax if you want.

Hard water spots on the paint are from when the car get rained on or wet and then it just bakes in the sun, the drops are like a magnifine glass, so when the sun is shining down its literally burning themselvs into your paint. i have had this prob before that when you look at the car under florcesnt lights you see them horribly esp on black cars, if there so bad and burned into the paint the only real way to get them out is to WET SAND them out and then buff the car, paint cleaner or clay may help a lilttle but it wont get most of them out.

My three month old TSX is Nighthawk Black Pearl and I just started using this spray detailer. The stuff is amazing. Apply it with a micro fiber towel. It removes hard water stains with no problem. It produces a nice wet look to the paint. After a carwash spray down or rain the water beads up nice and runs off the quickly. Here is a link to read up on http://www.meguiars.com/estore/
