1993 Accord EX Died while Driving. Cranks but doesn't start
Hi, back again with some more problems with the lovely Accord.
1993 Accord EX
Stock
159990 Miles
Story:
I turned onto the highway and drove about 1000 feet before my engine shut off and died. Was not racing her or anything, just accelerating normally. Dash was still on and everything was functioning correctly--electronics and all. I put her into Neutral and coasted it to my road. I attempted to start it but all it would do is crank.
What I have done:
When putting the car into the ON position, I can hear the main relay click and the fuel pump turn on. It just cranks when I attempt to start it so I haven't tried doing it anymore as I don't want to cause more problems.
What do I need to do?:
(need guide for how to do this, pictures would help lots)
* Check Spark
I'm not sure of what else needs to be done and I'd love it if you guys can keep up your already-stunning reputation of fixing my car's problems.
As I said H-T, I'm back and I need your help.

Alright, so I went out to get a new sparkplug for my lawnmower today and decided to try and start the beast up before going. It started on the first key turn! Obviously I still have spark, right? Anyways, I went to the store and left the honda running, came back and it was still going. (this was a three minute trip). About another minute and a half later (5 mins since started) it shut off like it did before.
Now I'm unsure at this point. Could it be starter / ignition related? For some reason I want to say fuel is the problem but I really have no idea.
Gah, this is
but I love my Honda.
P.S. on the bright side I get a new windshield on Monday if the Glass people show.

If so, do you guys have guides for checking these?

Sounds like something responding to your car's temperature.
You need to check for spark WHILE your car is in its freshly dead state.

How do I go about that? Pictures and a guide would really help.
Edit: I guess I really don't know where my spark plugs are located. Never had to do anything with them so yes, I know I'm a 'noob' but I do need some pictures or at least a good description. Sorry for my infant-ness.

I had a similiar problem, mine was solved with a new iginition coil, but yes check along the lines of your ignition system.
aight what u need to do is start the car when u have left it sitting for a while then when u start it remove one of the spark plug wire and put it against one of the screws on the valve cover thats how u check the strength of the spark
