Brake Fluid Question
Hi,
Searched and could not find any answers.
My question is this, is it ok just to top off the brake fluid or do the whole flush? Right now my brake fluid is in the between the Min and Max.
The last maintenance of the car was done like 15K ago. Tomorrow I'm gonna do the oil change.
Right now the brakes are fine, its just the fluid level.
Thanks

Brake fluid has a high affinity to moisture. Over time it will absorb enough to make the brake pedal feel spongy. Contaminents can find there way in from bad seals sometimes as well. If your fluid is dark and dirty flush it entirely. It isn't overly difficult and it certainly can't hurt anything.
It's OK just to top off the fluid. If your fluid level is between the min and max, it's perfect and you don't have to add any fluid.
I agree with jravensc, if the fluid is dark, try to get it flushed soon. Your braking system will thank you

You don't really need to get brake fluid from Honda. Only fluids from honda is POWER STEERING <- MUST and ATF <- for better shifting...
I would get 1 big bottle and 1 smaller one.
