Default Help witg future plans with my Integra 2000 LS

First off I would like to say hi to everyone in the community.

I am the proud owner of a 2000 Acura integra LS, which is why I need peoples opinions and help regarding many upgrades I plan on adding to my vehicle. The motor is raw, no trubo, no intake, stock all the way. I want to add a cold air and exhaust system, full, with new headers. I also need help with a touchy subject. I have an automatic and I hate it, I want to swap transmissions. I want to buy an integra-r transmission with the full install kit so I can easily convert it with out having to run around for parts. Can anyone suggest were I can purchase such a kit, and the cheapest way to go about this....also could I have suggestions with the cold air intake and exhaust sytems, which ones should I get?

Thank you,
Wade

Alright well be ready for not a whole lot of help that you WANT and be ready for everyone to want to help your mind be forced into buying a manual. haha
So before everyone else says it, the best idea is to sell what you have before you start changing stuff and buy a manual. With that being said, you might choose as I did to keep the automatic anyways. I am because Ive begun gutting it and other random things that make it "harder" to find a buyer. But keep inmind not impossible, you can always find someone to buy your ride. Anyways

check out our sponsor for the exhaust, headers, and anything else you may need aftermarket wise. http://www.statracing.com/

I've been looking at passwordjdm for motors to swap. You can check them out
http://passwordjdm.com/index.aspx

Other then that try using that search button and type in something random like Integra LS ------- and you'll see what people have posted about whatever. Also be ready for a lot of people to scream that above phrase in your face.

That being said, use the search button before asking general questions to avoid being flamed. But check out those 2 sites, they should help. Welcome and enjoy.

P.S. Once you trials done you can check out the marketplace, people sell random parts that might be exactly what your looking for.

Find a manual in a junkyard & start the fun from there. I believe you will also need the ECU.

I once was in your shoes. I had an auto and I wanted manual but I didnt want to convert because of the trouble, so just by my luck I found someone with the same type and year as mine but in manual and he needed an auto car. So we ended up swapping cars and I gave him 500 cash since he said more people would want standard rather than an auto, and it had wayyyyy lower milage than my auto. If you got the time, money and knowledge than you should convert it. Other wise just stick with the auto.

there's no real cheap or easy way to convert it to manual, save the time and money and just find an integra that's already a 5 speed.
