I'm doing a b20 vtec with ARP studs. the head is b16 and I want to know whats the spec
to torque down the head?

 

You'll get different answers from everyone. Some big name tuners will tell you up to 80ft/lbs. I believe ARP reccomends 60-65. Torque it down in steps and go around twice to make sure they are all tight. For a stock compression NA, 60 will probably be fine.

 

I have a 96 civic and i want to put a H22, but I want to know if it will past the state ref and if it does. what do i need to get it to past?
