i have had an exedy stage 1 and exedy stage 2 clutch in my integra and they both had really high engagements. i barely had to push the pedal in for the clutch to release. i just put a competition stage 5 in and now the pedal has to be pushed all the way to the floor. the engagement is at the very bottom of the clutch travel, the first 3 or 4 inches of movement do nothing. are competition clutches just low engaging?
it shouldnt go that low my buddy's got a nice Comp. one like yours and it releases and engages like your old ones. Maybe go back and check everythink like your linkages and make sure they are fairly tight and bleed it, if you havent already.

took the slave cylinder off, flushed the system, and tried adjusting the clutch pedal at the master cylinder. same stuff. i had someone sit in the car and push the clutch while i looked at the slave cylinder and its moving, so i guess its right
