The sunroof on my 91 Si gets stuck just before it opens up. If I punch it while holding the button it goes. Anyone know whats up?

 

I had this problem also. It turned out to be the switch. Usually the contacts just become dirty.You can clean the inside of the switch w/ a die electric cleaner. I opted to just replace mine because the writing was wearing off but cleaning it would have been fine.Later
