Default do it yourself > clear the amber

Hey ive seen the ctr headlights and the 98-00 red/clear tail lights but i was wondering what products i need to buy in order to do this myself.

The orininal:

No amber:

Also on the headlights there is amber.

How can i do this without buying expensive lights. Is there some sort of paint that can be used. thanks

you cant.

YOu cant put a lighter color over a darker one. Those lights are like 100 bucks anyway. Maybe less, find some kid who got altezzas to sell you his old ones.

what i would do, is carefully take a ballpeen hammer, and smash out all the amber in there.. and leave it nice and clear.. no more pesky lens...then i would take a can of flat black, and paint everything i saw..straight JDM

and then you would have broken taillights because the amber is part of the outer lens. Just get 99-00 tails, they're probably not too much$.

Hey I know what you are talking about I have seen the lights on the bottom pic before. I think that you can buy them at places that sell altezzas. I know that they exist. You also could just go on eBay and get a set of clears for like $80 and paint the red in and leave the rest clear.
