Altering primary cam lobe profiles for high swirl
Just wondering if anyone has ever experimented with inducing a more optimal swirl pattern similar to a d15z1 simply by grinding one of the primary intake cam lobes down to a max lift of .100" or so. Naturally, the fueling would be set to a more efficient ratio afterwards. Has anyone attempted this or can think of a reason it would be a problem other than a lesser torque sub-3800ish rpm? We're referring to B series engines specifically.
