Need advice on Supension upgrades
Hey guys just did my first Auto cross and did pretty damn well out of novices. Integra did really well, however i want to upgrade suspension all the way to get the edge out of BMWs.
So far done: Koni yellows (Worked very well)
Think i want to do these?
Lower control arms (Skunk2) Dumb question but are lower control arms in front of car to or just back?
Sway bars Blox, or ST, or just OEM Type R sway bar.. I know i will be getting the ASR Sub frame reinforcement. (What brand is best?)
Strut bars (Brand?) What hole do you suggest putting the sway bar in?
I want to get good product but am on a budget.
Any advice would be great..

These will help. Front and rear sway bars. Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I heard LCAs dont really do much other than cut down on weight.

I wouldn't go too crazy with modifying your car if your auto-x your car, primarily because most modifications will change which class you compete in. Therefore, more changes equals a higher, tougher class.

You have both front lower control arms (FLCA) and rear lower control arms (RLCA).
The only FLCA that I know is available is made by Omni.
There are quite a few manufactures of RLCA. I recommend PIC

IMO, I would wait to get sway and strut bars. Sway and strut bars should be used to fine tune your setup for more or less rotation.
I would look into better spring rates if you really want to make some more changes. But I'm not sure how much seat time you have with Auto-Xing but I would wait till you have a decent amount of seat time before making any changes, so you have a better feel for your car then you can makes changes depending upon your prefrences. There is a lot of good information in the RR/Auto-x section, run a search and you should have plenty to read.

Since your on a budget just take your time with upgrading your car and do things correctly the first time. Also, it might not be a bad idea to leave your car as stock as possible, so you can use the rest of your cash on getting more seat time.
Any advice would be great.
Have you played around with anything else on your car?
More details on your car would help, i.e. brakes, tires, motor, tranny, etc.
Remember that tire compoud, tire pressure, brake compound, and LSD will also play a big role with how your car performs on track

I have upgraded Brakes so far (Drilled Brembo F/R with ultimate ceramic pads), The Koni Yellows, 14" Michelin pilot Exalto A/S (Good tires), Just basic Bolt ons I/H/E, Everything else stock.
I got about 12 laps for auto cross first half of day. Then another 8 laps last part of day. I am going to be doing it at least one a month Maybe twice, when i feel she is ready. Until then doing it about 1-2 times every other month.
Oh ya Class with BMW Auto cross (i go with) Mods do not matter you are in same class with non-Bmws. SCCA i was thinking about to, But heard that you only get like 4 runs and its A LOT smaller course.
Last time did tire pressure at 38 PSI all around car (That is what i was told to do)
I was also thinking about lower control arms because something is vibrating one acceleration and i think its them anyways.
