Ohhh ****........GT40
I thought I'd share my dads new toy that he picked up recently. This thing weighs around 2200-2400lbs while having I think 550hp and like 560lb's of torque. I've been in some pretty fast cars, but this thing scares the **** out of me. Enjoy!

This was purchased from only one of two company's sponsored by carroll shelby to replicate his cars. The shell is the only thing from superperformance. Otherwise, everything else is made by the company that I mentioned.

haha no not yet. It really only has been taken out once and has 11 miles on it right now. I'm going to try to get some footage of it in action when it gets taken out next.

It's about as close to a real GT40 as one can get. You could call it a replica, but its more like a modern built 60's spec car.

well put rynodyno. I really don't know anything about the 427 or the tranny as of now off the top of my head. I'll try to find the brochure for the car and get back to you.

I tried to find the specs on the motor and tranny but had no luck. They came from a completely different place from where these cars are being built. My dad tried to learn more on the motor but they wouldn't release any information. All we really know is that it is an original completely rebuilt 427 with an alluminum block.

haha. yeah he owns a 68 Camaro, 69 Boss 302, 65 Shelby GT 350, 66 Excaliber Cobra, 06 Roush Mustang, and a AMX. I'm not sure on what year the AMX is. He's also looking at a 70 GTO too. He owns a few other cars from BMW and Lexus but those are his toys.
