hey whats up everyone? just got my black fg2 on may 5 2008. anyone else have a idle issue? like when you shift each gear the throttle seems like it stays open. since i work as a tech at honda i did the update for the ecm/pcm and it made it a little better but i am wondering if anyone that has a reflash helped it. tia

everyone deals with it.

you're a tech....you obviously know there's a "problem" with the system.

Im 99.99999999% sure that the only 'update' that deals with the throttle sticking on shifts was only made for the 2006 models which used the previous ECU flash.... 2007+ models all use the current flash so you should have been good from the beginning.

It's actually a really nice feature, I learned stick on my 2006 Si, and shifting in the 2002 RSX-S is almost annoying because I have to focus more to get the same smooth shift I got out of the Si.

Interesting. I drove a few manuals before the SI and I find it extremely difficult to drive it smoothly all the time. 1st > 2nd shift is usually a bit jerky. The RPMs just dont' drop in between shifts, so when I let out the clutch, it instantly has to drop ~500 RPMs, where in my older cars they just dropped during the shift. It's annoying, but I live with it
