Default type R exhaust

I have a 95 LS, does the 98+ type R stock exhaust bolt right onto my car?

for some reason I heard that ONLY 2001 model GSR exhaust bolts right on to my 95 LS too, is that right?

95 is obdI...so it might not. Also..the header on a LS I heard is longer so it might...Mine required a little bit of welding. I cut the bottle neck off anyway. so I had them add about 4" to my ITR bpipe. still about 1/2"~1" short but it still fit. Mine is a 94 GSR.

anyone else agree with 01-0720 about the type R exhaust bolt right onto the 95 LS?

As I was saying, I thought the 2001 model GSR piping was alittle longer than the previous model GSR piping, so If that's the case, does the 01 GSR pipe/mufflr fit onto the 95 LS too?

I agree...that's why I meant that the header on the ITR and LS is the same length, Longer than the GSR. the 2001 piping is shorter, cuz i had that on my car and I had to lengthen the b pipe to reach. the same as my ITR. I believe it has something to do with 94 being obd I smaller cat *shrugs* But it should bolt up, but you have a bottle neck at the flange...I got mine cut off.
