I have a '97 civic hatchback. just wondering what would look/sound good as a muff for my car.

are you talking about one of those rice cannon mufflers lol. IMO you should just get a good quality catback exhaust so nobody calls your car a PO'd weedeater.

Whatever muffler you'd like. You want a loud exhaust, get a canister style muffler. Of course if you want something on the quiet sound yet somewhat noticeable, get an ES Oval muffler or APEXi WS2.
