wondering if i'll be getting the best out of my all motor lsvtec tuning with a
Apexi Power FC ? going to come with the car that im buying tomorrow.

Yes, Apexi Power FC is a good unit...

dont let him scam you with a piggy back afc/vafc

 

if the tuner has FC datalogit then its a great tuning tool.. if not, its junk.

 

sorry if anybody didn't understood my question, lets start all over. Was planning on building a fully built all motor 2.0 liter vtec when i found this car that i just bought yesterday. Its a 91 HB(fender bender,normal wear and tear) with a fully built turbo ready Lsvtec with only 1500 miles.

Bought the car for only $3000. My plans are to replace the pistons with at least
RS ITR pistons, sell the Ls tranny. OK so my question was, should i keep the apexi
power fc or sell it and tune with Hondata200 or crome?

 

I know some people that LOVE the power FC, and they know what they're talking about (basically the only respectable honda performance place in the state). Sorry, but I don't have any first had experience

yea. before the deal was done we pulled the valve cover, head, and oil pan.

 

PowerFC is a good system.

 

If the car has FC Datalogit, or the tuner has Apexi Power Excel it's a very good system, it worked very well on my ITR, I have FC Datalogit installed in the car, so to tune I only have to hook up the laptop.

 

I got the power fc with the commander no need for the datalog or pc tune it straight off the remote, and it is very simple.

Yeah... FCs are junk imo.. Crome works the best or Hondata.

 

PowerFC is a good system but in my aera not to many people new how to use it..
