Default 85 prelude custom

ok having some trouble here. Would it be cheaper to put a turbo on my stock 85 1.8 liter carb motor in my lude or swap in a h22a? Let me know what you think please? I desperately need help here!

cheaper to go turbo? you will need an EFI intake manifold of one of hte later accords or preludes such as a A20A,

or better yet, swap hte A20A in and boost that (im pretty sure the A20's are bolt in...)

either way you will need a new fuel system, with a surge tank, EFI pump etc...

BUT the H22A wil be a better engine, not sure it will be a "good" fit, there will be several issues with it.

such as clearance of the hood for starters

anyways, check out my site:

www.geocities.com/b16aprelude

for all the joys associated with a 2nd generation prelude engine swap...

however, i would strongly recommend more displacement,

eg b18 or b20

both will have clearance issues with the hood, but i am about to find out how much an issue this will be...

defnitly NEED a torquey engine with the slightly heaver Lude...

good luck, make sure you have a clear plan and plently of info, i can help a bit if you need - no problems
