Default wipers and sunroof problems

lately when i start my car i have found that my wipers and my sunroof don't work. I check them periodically and they might work after some driving or they just suck all together.
I didn't have problems with either before just recently and i haven't found anything like a short or a bad fuse yet. also
i didn't know whether or not wipers and the sunroof shared the same relay or not?
and it hasn't only been in the rain when it happens sometimes i just wanna pop my sunroof open on a hot *** day and nothing.
does anyone have any knowledge or suggestions they can drop on me?

Its the motors, pull of you roof cover and replace the old sunroof motor, and under the hood next to the fuse box is the wipers motor, replace that to

replace both with new parts if you have the money
or just get other ones at a junk yard, from a fairly good looking car of the same year,(88-91)

it doesnt seem right though. y would they both not work at the exact same time and come back on together if it were because the seperate motors were bad.

looking at the manual, they share a common fuse. i would check for a loose connection under the dash

Before changing out the motor on the sunroof you may want to try replacing or cleaning the sunroof switch. My sunroof used to only work sporadically if it all, and I tried swapping the switch with one I found at a junk yard, and now it works perfectly. There is also a write up on how to clean the switch yourself somewhere on here. Good luck.
