check your intake manifold and its gasket. Does it have coolant runing to it? Sometimes if you bolt it on with a weird pattern to torque it doesnt seal properly

please remove your caps lock.

white smoke = coolant

Did you or anyone else touch any internal components between the time frame of taking it out of one vehile and putting it into a different vehicle?

Are you positive you are using the correct computer? Did you touch any wires at all??

Has the car just been sitting for a while before you decided to swap it out?

If you have access to one, put a pressure tester on your radiator and look for any coolant leaks. A **** load of white smoke usually indicates a bad head gasket.
