I'm not sure about honda but on our lexus cars the crank sensors will detect the problem then split out the MIL. Take your timing cover off and check to see if those marks line up if not you are off.

i am getting a code 4 crank angle sensor after dropping a b16 into my hatch. I replaced the timing belt when the motor was out, but I swear all the marks lined up. It could just be the wiring.

Is the sensor still okay.......there wasnt a second sensor that needed to be added was there?

While were on the subject of the sensor......if your timing belt oh say skipped only 1 tooth maybe even 2.......would that tend to make your car slightly bog, I was racing my car last wed. night and missed 3rd......pulled it out tried to go for 3rd again (instead of giving up) and slammed it into "FIRST" for about half of a tiny millla second......but enough to make my car slam down nose first and really slam the rev limiter.....

I got out asap and checked it out....still running....just fine, I couldnt hear any noises really because at the time I was running open header.....but now since last wed. I put a full header back exhaust on and I can feel only in 2nd gear around 2rpm a slight hesitation.....ive also noticed was seriously seems like my cam gear is just kinda loose it really moves around alot and swivels......

I'm getting a code 4 and sometimes 8 on my ZC. Someone else told me possibly my timing belt. Tomorrow I'm going to check it. Mine will barely move. Can't give it to much gas or many RPMs at all. Hopefully its just the sensor b/c when I was in school and did my swap I had all the tools. Now out of school with no air tools.
Post if its your timing please, mine screwed up after shifting into 3rd but I didn't miss, revmatched and then it was CEL and bogging like crazy.
