Default My vtec doesnt work need advice

My vtec doesnt kick it goes to 8000 but i dont hear it hit and i have no check engine light help me out please....

low oil level/pressure, low coolant level, not at operating temp., thats too vague a question and there are toomany things that effect vtec engagment. need more info

oil level and coolant r all good i changed ecu's i cleaned out the screen in the vtec solenoid and still the same.

change ur oil. that could cause the problem for the vtec not to engage... GL

Did you let it warm up properly?

What mods/engine is this?

Assuming you have most of the simple things checked and working. It could be your oil Pressure switch or connections to the pressure switch and/or vtec solenoid.

Normally you can't hear the vtec on the b18c1 since its at 4400. The secondaries, which opens up at 5750, is what you usually hear.

Try looking into that?

The homie got it fixed it was the little black box on the bottom of the intake manifold. Thanks everyone for your help and to the others with the smart *** answers suck a fat one tricks
