I changed my plugs wires dis. cap and rotor today and when I finished car started fine then took it down the road and it was running fine then I shifted into 2nd and when I got to 4000rpm the car just died checked all wires cap and rotor everything is ok any ideas please help. Car cranks just wont start

 

anybody got any ideas any help

 

Did you check for spark?

 

the car was running how would it just lose spark

Maybe it didn't? But it would be a possible place to start some trouble shooting that doesn't require much for tooling or time.

 

what motor?, did you accidentally break anything when you were doing it?

 

d16z6 its a 93 si and no nothing was broken I started and drove the car car about a block down my street everything was fine then got on a back road and shifted to 2nd and when the car got to 4000rpms it just died checked everyhting that was just replaced and it was fine tried starting the car and it would just crank wouldnt start

Fixed it was the ignition coil easy fix thanks for the help
