OK. So today when I was driving down College Ave. (which is a horrible road) on my home from school my check engine light went on and my engine died. Light went on engine died no time in between at all. I pulled to the side of the road and turned off my car. I waited a bit then I tried to restart it so I could drive the half mile to my house. It started no check engine light no nothing. Now it idles at 500 rpm. which is super low you all probably know.

has this happened to anyone else? My temp. gauge was normal. I have 3/4 take of gas. It is warm out here in Milwaukee it's like 60 and humid. the road I was driving on is a **** road because its by the airport and there are a ton of trucking companies that use that road..

So please help give me some idea on what could be wrong!

I'd start by checking for any loose connections/connectors inside the car (ECU) and in the engine bay. Good luck.
