92-95 civic 2dr hood won't fit on 95 4dr sedan?
can someone help?
I have 95 eg sedan. i sold my carbon fiber hood, so I purchased 2dr hood. after installed, it won't close all the way, even though I slam it, it won't lock. any reason? is it suppose to lock or not? someone please help. people said it won't fit, but I'm wondering because if it's outside fitment or that not locking issue.

I'm 99.9% sure that the 2 door and the hatch have the exact same front, but the coupe is different. You need the Sedan (edited for correction) hood, not a two door hood.

I purchased 2 door hood and I have 4dr eg. is it not suppose to lock at all? I hear clicking sound, but it doesn't lock all the way. I tried to slam to lock it, but still won't lock. is it because 2 dr hood don't fit on 4dr? I tried everything. bought new hood latch as well, still don't lock all the way.

I'm sure that was an accident.
Coupe generally speaking = two door.
Sedan generally speaking = four door.

You can try remounting the hook (had to this on my 86) or if you dont mind to look a little rice ,pins...Or screw the hood and get the right one...

Simple mistake
the whole front end changes in the four door and and 2 door everything fenders, hood, bumper and corner lights the only thing that is the same is the headlights .......compare the front of the hood from coupe to four door there different ......
so even if i use hood pins... it wont fit? apparently its an inch to short. i've got a smokin deal on a 2 door hood for my 4 door. and i dont know where to get a cf hood for my sedan.

The parts between a 2dr and a 4dr front-end doesn't fit. 4dr is much longer on the fenders, bumper, corner lights, and hood. I know this 100% because I have both cars.

What about the rad support? i bought a 4 door nose clip for $50 off someone cut at the shock tower. no fenders or anythign else juss the needed for the rad support. Will it work on my eg with the 2 door fenders hood headlights Etc??
the 4 door hood is almost exactly an inch longer front to back than an EG/EJ hood. The four door hood is your best bet. someone mentioned changing the radiator support which is ludacris when you can just get the correct hood. my $.02
Im reading this thread, and have a quick question. I'm thinking about buying a set of EG8 (four door euro) headlights and corner lights. I have a civic hatch though. Will the EG8 headlights and corners fit my hatchback? Sorry to thread jack. Thanks guys
