Default extended wheel studs

does a tire shop put these on, a tuner shop, random gearhead with a blowtorch?

i was reading that it was wise to spot weld them.

any leads would be great!
thank you

Default Re: extended wheel studs (greenwallseries)

a shop with a press. you have to get the hub pressed out of the knuckle, then press out the stock studs, press in new studs, press on new wheel bearing, then press hub back into knuckle. laying a tack on the back of the stud wouldn't be a bad idea but if u have good parts i dont see the need. the knurles on the stud should be sufficient.
