how should i tune this?
hello h-t i have a 95 integra gsr with mostly all boltons like comptech shortram intake,skunk2 pro series intake manifold, crower stage 1 camshaft, unorthodox cam gears,dc header 4-2-1,dc sports exhaust catback, and exedy stage 1 organic clutch. i was thinkin about gettin a chipped p28 ecu and do a street tune on it or just get my p72 ecu chipped? the problem is im low on budget and cant get afford all that vtec controller thingy, hondata and all that good stuff.. so wat kinda chip is best for me and where should i set my rev limiter and when should my vtec engage.. what kinda chip should i let my tuner chip it with. which will make my car run alot faster .. oh and what will happen when i need a smog .do i just switch back to my stock ecu and everything will run like stock or whats the deal on this.. let me know . i kno there's alot of smart fellas in h-t that knows.. thanks in advance ..yeee yeeeee

reppin that 916 SACTOWN!!
I tuned mine on chrome for 150$ but i also payed to chip my ecu so it costed me 250$ total. Chrome works fine. And when you need to smog I think you'll need another basemap that is tuned to pass smog with your set up
For those of us who dont live in California, we just run a chipped P28. Its the best affordable method. You can find a Crome chipped P28 for around $150 and add a conversion harness for another $75 or so. After that a quick tune will tie up all the loose ends. All told, you should be able to stay under $400 for a spot-on tune which will make your car run like it did from Honda.
