Default changing shift **** on non-si

Just a quick question about changing the shift ****:

Are there ***** available that are the same "size" as the shift stem. In other words, they just screw right on the same way the factory one does?
My other question is will I have to get a new shift boot for the new ****. (The factory one has that piece that attaches to the factory ****.

Any thoughts?

The factory **** **** is shift, please help if you know

you can remove that plastic thing. flip the boot inside out and you will see a zip tie that you just cut off. you can buy a new shift boot or just use rubber bands to keep the shift boot up.

i dont know what you mean by the same size but just make sure you buy a **** with the same thread pitch 10x1.5.
