need help fast...weld drag wheels?? what backspacing??

I am purchasing Weld drag wheels and need to know what sizes will clear my stock brakes on a 98 civic dx hatch?? i had a set of 15"(unknown backspacing) and they hit my calipers??
Buying this week, please help, show pics, anything...im buying 13"

You need to know how wide the wheels are. In general I would shoot for a 40mm offset or backspacing. The lower the offset number the more the wheel will stick out and the higher the offset number the more the wheel will go into the wheel well.

i understand all that, and +40 would be for a set of street wheels and tires. I am looking at Welds 15x8 with 24.5" slicks. Thanks for the input, but not the direction I needed.
