Default Banjo Bolt from Mr. Gasket Fuel Rail Broke. Where can I get a replacement?

Well I was putting in my intake manifold, so I had to take of my fuel rail and Bam... broken banjo bolt. It's from a Mr. Gasket GSport Fuel Rail. I know I don't need an after market fuel rail until I get into crazy WHP, but I wanted something flashy. Has anybody else have this banjo bolt break? I need a new one ASAP. Any links to where to get one or anyone who wants to give/sell for cheap/donate one to me is welcome!

I can't find anything that's exactly the same. There are about a hundred different things that look similar to it. Can anybody help me find it on a site? Thanks,

Ryan

Well, have you tried getting one from Mr. Gasket?

Otherwise, you're going to have to figure out the sizes on the bolt and you should should be able to find one on McMaster-Carr ( http://www.mcmaster.com/ ) or amazon.com, summit, etc....there's tons of online stores for fasteners.

Sorry to brinkg this back, I've looked and I'm just really stupid. I can't even find one that looks like this one? Can somebody else try to find one and send me a link? Thanks to everyone, and especially to the person who can find this!

EDIT: Contacted Mr. Gasket and the product has been discontinued...

Ge here and search for 'banjo bolts': http://www.mcmaster.com/

They have these which are a different design but they work the same way if you can find the same thread sizes and such.

Another thing that will make things a lot easier for you (but be more expensive) is to get an SS fuel line with AN fittings. http://fast-turbo.com has good SS fuel lines....

I don't know much about fuel lines, but this look like it would work. Does this go to the fuel rail and is $65 shipped a good price?

That bolt in there looks like the one I need. Hmm. I wonder if I could just buy that off him...

Yes, the guy at fast-turbo is named Stan and he's a cool guy. He will probably ask you what car and what parts you currently have and he will know the fitting sizes you need. $65 is not too bad IMO...cheaper to do it yourself but it's hard to get the fittings right and make the line if you've never done it before.

It goes from the fuel rail to the filter on the firewall in a 4th gen. I guess the 5th gen filter is way down on the bottom so I don't know where it will cut off.

Those are not banjo bolts, BUT he may know the size you need and have one in stock if you ask him

How do I do it myself? I've tried to search for it but I'm clueless. What makes it difficult?

Thanks.

Golden Eagle has that fitting, its a -8AN ORB on the rail end and an H-series banjo on the other. No pic on their site but looks identical to what you have. Same fitting I use on the rails I machine.

You would have to order some SS line, fittings for each end then connect everything yourself at home. It's not terribly hard, but if you have never done it before it won't be easy to do right the first time.

Summit has all the stuff you need plus more, you just have to know the exact sizes you need.
