This is of general interest for the B18a/b. This is not a FS thread. OP, do you have any sketches?

I think if you had a prototype and some photos you would get a lot further. People want to see what they are purchasing.

bah, not to knock you or anything but manufacturing a new item is part of risk...
if you don't make or resell them, you'll make 0 profit anyhow...
if you make a batch and only sell half, you'll still break more than par versus supply and labor cost...

after reading this i googled it trying to buy one and i can't find one...as long as you sell them for 45-50 a piece i'm sure that's reasonable for you and the buyer

Then why not just post a survey at the beginning post? No one wants to read through page after page of people replying "I dig it" or "I think it's cool".

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by lmike6453 &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">bah, not to knock you or anything but manufacturing a new item is part of risk...</TD></TR></TABLE>

Exactly. If you aren't willing to take risks then you are not in the right business.

If you think you are going to manufactur a product that is better than one that already exists, then why wouldn't you take the risk?

In regards to carbon fiber products, there are many people that make their own CF products at their homes for pieces that aren't available. It takes time and practice. If you made a prototype and posted it, then did a first run of 10 or so, you will get a good idea of how successful your parts will be.

And just for fun, Fibercation's location of gahanna, OH is less than 10 miles away from that eBay sellers location of Columbus, OH.

it should be called ls/crv sparkplug cover. not just ls. i would buy one quick for my b20z2. on a side note. the ebay seller picked the ugliest valve cover to show his product.
