Default B16T questions

Hey guys im going to be boosting my JDM B16 this summer and i was just looking for a couple opinions on things. i wanna go for 300whp at 8 psi on a .57 trim turbo.... i was thinking of adding a skunk2 intake manifold and got it port matched to a skunk2 TB with a AEM fuel rail. i just wanted to know if adding those parts will allow my goal to be easier to attain or possibly even get me more power with the same amount of boost... this will be my first boosted car so just looking for opinions and pointers.
thanks

you wont make 300 on 8 psi.

im at 10psi on a jdm b16 with a cometic headgasket, .60 trim, ctr cams and blox intake manifold and i made 290hp/188tq. its gutless below 5 grand, if i could do it over i would have gotten something smaller, but i got the turbo for cheap, and i had plans to build the motor.

and the mods you listed wont really do much, the fuel rail wont do anything. go do some reading in the forced induction forum and search up other peoples builds.

You really don't need to waste money on an intake manifold for your b16. B16's have a perfect flowing intake manifold.

I also suggest you browse around and post in the forced induction forum and ask questions since this will be your first boosted car.

Whatever you do.. just do not cheap out on the tuning, turbo, or wastegate

yea thats what i have noticed. I am not going cheap by any means on this setup... and the tuner that tunes for my buddies shop is one of the best tuners on the west coast. He tuned my buddies B17 GSR w/ ITR cams on 10psi and a .57 trim turbo to 309 at the wheels.... 300 doesnt seem too far out of reach especially since i talked to the tuner a week ago and he said it would be a reachable goal with a good dyno tune more than likely. I do have some light head work done also... its been rebuilt with ITR valve springs/retainers, has a 3 angle valve job, the displacement is bore .20 over and i micropolishes the crank and had the block hot tanked to make sure everything was fresh. i know that doesnt really help power but gives me assurance. thanks for the input.
