Default sway barripped pice of rear end off help!

so after my buttonwillow event i noticed a clicking noice coming from my rear end thought it was my triling arm bushins but on a closer look it was the base of my sway bar

heres a better pic of the damage

so now heres where i need your input the pice that came off the sway bar is pretty much junk

here

so i was thinking of using this bit that came off and getting another piece of metal and welding it; however, idon't think this would help it from hapining again. so do i reinforce where the sway bar bolts up to the car or do i get the asr brace. i really don't want to put it back if its gana happen again. so thanx for any help

to me it looks like your gonna need a new subframe! what size bar were you using and did you have any reinforcement kit at all?!

you need a new subframe. Its a pretty pricey repair. Try to get a ctr subframe, its stronger then and of the usdm subframes.

You know, I have ran into this no matter what sway bar I use... Have a decent shop weld the cracks and weld in some braces.
