spray paint- anyone know how to make it more durable? Harden up?
THis is somewhat related,
but i am repainting a bike frame with painters touch spray paint (i like their color choice)
and I noticed that even after a day of letting the frame sit in the sun, and after using a head gun to heat it up- it is still very soft (base coat and clear coat) i can stick my fingernail into it easily.
I wanted to put it in an oven and bake it but it wont fit.
anyone have any experiece with this?
should I let it set for a week before handling it to put it back together?

Spray bombs will never et really hard, as they are not catalysed, unless you co to something like ALSA's killer cans which have a 2 part sytem.
Before ever painting anything you got to make sure you have a good base thats the foundation to paint preferably i like to prime then use a sealer its all found at advance auto ma man . Good luck
I got so sick and tired of crappy rattle can paint that I switched to the real deal and have not looked back.
