Low-dust brake pads (ex. Hawk HPS).

You can use some stuff called wheel acid, which can be picked up at any autozone and such. That stuff will get anything and everything off the rims. I wouldnt recommend this stuff for the low priced cheaply made knock-offs though. It will probably eat through the clear coat. Never had a problem with the high-end rims. Used that stuff at a big dealership.
Just spray it on and pressure wash it off, just try to make sure to not get any on car. If you do spray it off quickly. Also make sure you read the bottle and see what it works for before using it. Some manufactures vary on what they say it can be used on.
Also the HPS pads will create less brake dust so they will stay cleaner longer after cleaning.
