1995 Integra SIR-G DIY Bracket for Mugen Tag
Just thought I'd share a few photos of something I experimented with today. I wanted to fill in the little opening I have in the front of my car and seeing I have a few Mugen aftermarket parts in my car, I decided to order an aluminum Mugen tag to fill in some of the space. All I did was made a template out of the metal back strap you'd normally get with aftermarket radios seeing it's easy to bend, copied the shape to a piece of aluminum, and then bolted the bracket to the underside of my hood and epoxyed the Mugen emblem to it. Came out pretty nice! Not sure if anyone has done this before, but thought I'd share anyways. The last picture is of the metal backstrap (painted white for reference) and the piece of aluminum I used for the final piece

Well, nothing really sits there in that space on the Integra so I can see where it will look out of place to some. However, it isn't really an odd place for a badge though because the Prelude Type S comes with the "Type S" badge in that same spot (for eg.) as well as some other cars. Guess I like to be a bit different some times and do a few things that aren't all that common with my type of car. I hate looking at Integra's that all look the same. Thanks for the comment
