Help: Window wont roll down...97 GSR
My driver side window wont roll down, its pretty weird... the day it stopped working, when i would roll it down it would go down delayed, like a second after i hit the switch, or if it went up it would be delayed as well, until it just stopped reacting to the switch, i tried again later that night and the same thing happened...now it will not go down at all anymore, the passenger side window is fine...my questions are
is this a common problem for a 97 gsr?
what could be some possible solutions to my problem with the window?
thanks for all of your help...i searched, but couldnt get much...

try opening the door all the way..there is a harness that controls everything on the individual door in between the fender and door. see if it is loose or give it a shake and see if that fixes your problem. it may just be dirty or coroded.

my driver side window has trouble rolling down when it's cold outside. in warm weather it's perfectly fine, however, when the temp drops the window slows down or completely stops at a certain point. pushing on the window while pressing the switch will get the window past the certain point and it'll go down the rest of the way just using the switch. in my case i'm guessing the window track is worn or slightly bent, silicone spray should help it but now that's its warm again the problem has dissappeared. maybe that's your problem?

i actually have the same prob in my '98 GS... i normally remedy the prob by flicking it up for a second then trying to auto-down the window, that normally seems to work after a few tries. might also wanna try checking the tracks and see if they're on as they should be

Same issue in my 00 GSR. Eventually, flicking it stopped working as well.
Tracks are in fine shape, though they have caused slow window movement in the past for me.
Time for the multimeter and a disassembled door panel. I'm betting its either the switch, or whatever mechanism is used to determine when the window is all the way down to stop the auto-down (there is something physical that does this, right?).
