My dad just picked up a Miller Goldstar 600SS from some guy down the street.

He was giving the welder from someone and he knows nothing about it.

Picked it up for $600. Looks to be in great shape. He said it was used only a few times (not by him).

I am just starting to learn how to weld. Is this an decent platform to get started?
