Who willbe in Charlotte Sunday before the ITR Expo?
Just seeing who will be heading up from the Charlotte area and what are your plans...
I guess this could be the CLT caravan thread
From my place which is in SC will be: 170.7 mi, 3 hr 3 min.
I'd like to be on the road at 4:00PM Sunday.
If anyone wants to meet up along the way I'll be on I85 north out of Charlotte to US29.

I will be driving up through CLT. I would like to leave CLT earlier than 4:00pm though. I'll be driving nice and slow being that I will be towing.
Reading (staying up to date) > you...
The SE caravan will be going right through there and staying Saturday night. Then leave sunday for VIR.
I too would like to leave before 4 pm. IIRC it was about 3 hours to VIR from CLT. And I'll be towing as well.

yeah i would rather get there earlier then 7ish...since more then likely the sun will already be going down and theirs a lot to set up...putting up a tent in the dark sucks..
i'm down for 12:30ish so we can take our time getting there with no rush.

Well I get out of work at 7 am won't be home til 7:45am and I would like to sleep for a little while after a 12hr shift.
Besides the sun sets at 8:38pm on the 8th, plenty of light to set everything up.
If the OGs need a place to stop and rest durning the trip up from the south, just let me know.

I need to book the flights but right now I'm looking at
Leaving Tampa friday morning to go to Omaha Nebraska, wedding in Omaha (or thereabouts) sat night, leaving as early as possible sunday morning, get to CLT, hitch a ride with Andy and crew, get to VIR sunday afternoon/evening/whenever, leave VIR with andy and crew on tuesday night? get a ride to the Charlotte airport wednesday morning to fly back to Tampa.
That'll be 4 days off for Expo, and since I'm not excited about going this year...

How can you you not be excited to see more rice, fins, jdm hype, and Country Club than you have ever seen in one place ev4r!!!
Nick, who is in it for the fat chicks.....and beer....and reminds you your grandpas pre war era metalflake motorcycle helmet STILL isnt going to pass Dave and I's tech. (unless of course, you have plenty of the afformentioned beer)

Hey fat chicks need lovin' too.
Yes, besides the pure humor value of seeing M80 or M75 helmets, please don't bother to bring them.. actually if you do, support Victor of VPR by buying a new helmet on site

Speaking of tech inspection, i see from the expo tech inspection form on ITRCA that we need to have the car inspected by "a qualified service person". I assume that a dealership service department would be adequate?
