Default AEM Intake For LS From GSR???

Im wondering would a GSR AEM Intake Fit my B20 LS??? Some dude is selling but wont let me try it on first so would it fit with out any problems????

It looks like it would fit. I just gave my friend who has an LS my GSR intake and he eye-balled confirmed that it would fit.

well the gsr intake is angled it like sticks out a bit and goes up


im not sure but i read that the hood wouldnt close with a stock ls intake manifold =X

haha but i wouldn't know that =\,

why won't the guy let you try it on? just go there and have him watch you do it or somthing

no it will not fit. gsr and ls/b20 intake arms have completely different designs.

i had this same prob way back in the day, after about 8 months it started to wear a hole in the intake, i just put an old coupler in that spot it fixed the prob, but your best bet would be to get an ITR intake cause its 3" not 2.5"

i dont think the 3.0 inch intake would do any difference compared to 2.5, on the GSR b18c1. sure it makes sense that 3.0 would permit more air into the intakeMani,

but doesnt it bottleneck right at the throttle?

i had the original AEM CAI on my GSR. I swapped the IM for skunk2 and it would no longer fit because the new IM sits a lot higher. The guy said any intake from an LS would fit. I know this is a backwards answer but i hope it helps.

I just ended up making my CAI into a Short Ram.
