The locking mechanism on the driver door is broken so the door is lock and will not unlock so I cannot open the door to replace the part....anyone know how to open locked door, or where there is a manuel trigger to unlock...any help would be great..

 

Can you hear any rods rattling around in there?

Your most likely going to have to try to get the door panel off

 

I have removed the door panel...the issue is the copper piece that locks around the U bracket that is attached to the door frame, this piece is locked in place. Becuase of this, I cannot open the door, if I am able to open the door, it is a pretty easy fix, but with the door closed...it is almost impossible. Do you know where there may be a release?
