damn man, that blows. I had a very similar car, a black 2000 EM1, and it was stolen from my carport in the middle of the day. It was super OEM (original suspension, wheels, floor mats, everything) and I actually got it back almost in one piece--they only took my seats and air filter. Good luck on getting it back.

From: TRILLINOIS....WAY downtown, jerky.
I think if someone stole my EM1, I would be less pissed off about losing it (it's just a car), and more pissed off about the inconvenience (it's my DD), and about the principle of the thing. Plus, I'm sure my insurance premium would go up. I'd probably get back more than I paid for it, though. I got a good deal on mine.
Move on, man. I know how it is in chicago. Cash the check, go to the Admiral.

Well, they also torched the springs and drove the hell out of it, leaving a ton of trash in it. A couple thousand miles later, the flywheel broke--the outer ring gear snapped off the inside ring, so I just sold the car. And it never did run as good as it did before it was stolen

ok well, clearly you don't admire vehicles as much as i do. and secondly, there is no check to cash. i did not have full coverage on the car, only liability since that was all i could afford.

This is seriously atleast the 5th "Stolen Car in Chicago" I've seen in the past month on here. That's outrageous.
Sorry about your car I've had my system stolen out of 2 different cars, can't imagine what it's like to not find your car in the morning.
