Default Ctr cams in b16??? what should i expect

I have a b16a and i am putting ctr cams valve spring and retainers the head has only been milled 8 thousands(.008) and a s2 intake manifold i am worried about the timing should it be affect? so here are a couple Q's

Q 1. Should milling the head .008 do anything with timming?

Q 2. Do i need to get anything to help my build?

tune your car since you're running that skunk2 intake manifold and besides you will make the full power out of a tune.

Yeah running a stock P73 ECU should be fine, but you will be wasting a bit more gas.. a friend of mine is running a 1997 jdm P73 ecu in his b16a2 with CTR cams and It's running very good. And tuning on crome is good I'm personally going to be tuned on crome myself.

you can also make more power if you look into buying some cam gears and having the tuner mess around with them.

If you read your manual I believe it can tolerate up to a .15" thou, mill on the stock cam gears without correction so you'd be fine with only .08". That being said, I would invest in a set of adjustable cams gears to get the most power out of that setup though.

You only need to set your ignition timing as normal. You adjust your cam gears, not for correction, but for best power on the dyno.

for better results get it tuned....dont want to mess with timing alot if you dont really know what you are doing...but with nothing aftermarket internally it should run pretty smooth....im running a poorman's type r and it ran pretty good...but my crank pulley was loose and threw off my timing...so waiting for a new crank pulley to come in..
