EG8 disc conversion,cable problem
I have read numerous post baout the rear disc conversion. I just did mine on a 93 Dx 4 door. I used a '00 integra GS-R, trailing links and e-brake cables. Everything went great up to the point of securing the e-brake on the handle. The cables seem to be 2 inches too short. The retainer for the cable jacket sits of the cable itself. The cables secure in the same location as the old drum cable. Not on the metal crimp sleeves. Has anyone had this problem? The right side cable fits 92-00 civics exact model I don't know yet. I cannot access the left side info yet. Any help??
i had the same problem a few weeks ago doing mine. i didn't use EVERY mounting point in order to make it longer. i only used the mounting pieces that would slide along the cable itself.
or attach the cables and then mount it.
if they were meant to go onto a civic they would bolt up 100%
improvise
