I've never been to any of their events (only been to the NWOR events), but I am probably going to go to the event on July 28 and possibly on the 27 as well. Hopefully someone on this board races there and can tell me how they like the track, the competition, the people etc. I just realized that the Ohio Valley Region practically races in my backyard (OSU), but they don't have another event until August 24, and I go to school on the 23.

Anyway, it would be cool to meet some H-T.com members up there.

That's cool. I don't if I will able to make it to the NWOR event on the 18th. It's a bit of a drive for me (and you, it seems).

I like the NWOR, everyone seems nice, and it was well organized. However, there was an event with the Detroit region and that was much more funthan a separate event I went to (due to the track setup, and my driving).

 

I'm tempted to go, but I toasted one of my Kumhos last week and I AM NOT racing on 550 tread wear tires! New tires should be in next week.

Have you tried going to a Neohio or ASCC event in Akron? The next event for Neohio is Aug 4th and ASCC is July 21st.

Actually, the Ohio Valley Region has the Central Divisional Event on the 20th and 21st, but I will be in Chicago visting my girlfriend, so this is the only autocross around that I can make it to.

About your tires, I'm going to be racing on Bridgestone Potenza RE92s, which are bound to suck compared to the A520s I'm used to.

What class are you in? My car is set up for STS, but I may use my CF hood and get killed in SM. I'll have fun either way I hope.
