Default Making my accord lighter

anyone can help me on this. I wanna make my 94 2 door as light as possible even if its a few hundred pounds if that. I know about the carbon fiber hood and fiberglass fenders, and seats. Are there other things that I can do or buy to make it lighter? I don't wanna give up my a/c or power steering. Any input would be great.

What are you trying to gain? It sounds as though you're going to keep it as a daily driver?

Pointless to do weight reduction then.

- AC
- PS
- Sound deadening
- carbon/fiberglass hood, trunk, fenders
- remove glass > put in lexan
- remove carpet
- remove seats
- remove dash
- remove stereo
- remove power windows/locks
- cut out unnecessary metal interior
- replace battery w/ dry cell
- replace oem wheels with lightweight ones
- remove door panels
- remove sunroof (if applicable)
- remove cruise control
- remove speakers
- remove spare
- remove trunk panels
- remove bumpers

etc

But if you want to keep AC and PS and keep it a daily why bother?

I understand what you mean. I am going to keep it daily but I wanted to at least reduce as much as possible. a few pounds is a few pounds. I just thought I'd ask

Honestly it pointless, you won't see enough of a gain by just taking crap out, especially if you're daily driving it.

From the sounds of it , if you're keeping AC and PS, you won't be looking at 7/8ths of that list. Mr Wonderfull has a full interior Accord pushing 600hp. Weight reduction is not necessary.
