Removing Acura Emblem...
I did mine but i welded & painted them ( im a body man ) & if any shop try's to charge more than $150.00 there ripping you off! Thats the only permanent fix! im in FLA. LOOK ME UP!
SAKKUSTOMS: since you are a body man i want to ask. why is it that we can not just use bondo to cover the hole where the acura tag is and the side molding or any holes?? i always hear that you can't use bondo now i want to know why...thanx
Well you can & if you take to some cheaper paint shops (LIKE MAKO) thats what they will do & it will shrink / swell / look " RIPPLED " we've all seen those HACK JOBS. The only way is to weld with a wire feed & if the shop tells you its too hard go somewhere else, trust me i don't want my car to look like S**t . & i know you don't want your PRIDE & JOY to look like that either . (I LOOK AT THE CARS IN THE MAGAZINES & CAN'T BELIEVE SOME OF THE JOBS ) LOOK FOR ME & MY SSB GSR AT NOPI! " KICKIN' *** "

Since I changed my emblems to OEM
I changed the ACURA emblem to a HONDA emblem off of a 90-91 Accord. Easy and (in my case) free way to cover the holes.

Well what i tell people that come to me for work is do the repair & primer that repair with a quality catalized epoxy primer & let it fully cure & it takes (depending on the climate where you are ) up to 2 weeks for it to fully cure & set in and when sanded prpoerly you will have a lasting finish . but most people cant wait so once again you get what you pay for . All the cars that i do i won't cut corners & it shows in the finished product . Any more questions e mail me SCCKEREZMAN@AOL.COM I will be happy to answer to the best of my ability, STEVE
