Keepin' 8 Clean [BBS Content]
Well I finished my finals this week and I finally got a chance to go out yesterday and do a full shoot of my car with the new wheels on it.
Let me know what you guys think of the car, the wheels, or the pics...

not exactly sure what you mean by that...those shots were take with a wide angle lens so theres some lens distortion, maybe thats what your seeing.

thanks man.
I debated going with a flashier looking wheel, but the car is daily driven and I decided I wanted to go the more subtle OEM+ route with the RGR's.

I have always loved the RGR's and BBS's in general and I wanted to do something different so they fit the bill.

thanks man
Yeah I know, looking at a few of them now, I wish I used my 18-55 on them. Oh well, next time.

Idk why you think RGR's look cheap but whateva.
LM's are one of my favorite wheels, but definitely not in any size I would put on my car. ie. 17 x 8 +35 LM's have a tiny little lip, and don't look good IMO. Not to mention I would have most likely had to buy them used and refinish them.

Not sure I understand this argument, RGR's have almost no lip, as their spokes extend to the edge of the wheel. The main difference, the RGR is a single piece wheel, while the LM is 3-piece.
The car looks good, although your vanity plate could be misinterpreted (people might think, for instance, you're a janitor)

My bad I didn't really explain it that well.
I love LM's and in general I like wheels with a polished lip, but I don't like LM's in 17"/ narrow applications that have a tiny lip. I prefer them in 18"+ applications that are 9" or wide, and have a nice big lip. I realize RGR's have almost no lip, and I don't mind that...my point was I prefer the look of my 17 x 8 +32 RGR's over the 17 x 8 +35 LM's I have seen.
And the spokes on my RGR's don't extent to the edge of the wheel, only narrower/higher offset RGR's do.
As far as the vanity plate goes, most people don't even know what it means, but its all good.

Thanks, I know what you mean. Its not like older Hondas and Acuras, its just a bigger bodied car to begin with. I'll be lowering it more over the next couple week though.
